Introduction Founded in 1999, Interkey soon became a leader providing innovative telecommunication services and offering all media entities in the region with advanced solutions and customized total solution Interkey is registered with the Ministry of Trade, Saudi Arabia (C.R. 1010156897 and C.C. 98433). It is currently Saudi Telecom’s leading service provider for prepaid phones (landlines), “Sawa” prepaid GSM and audiotex services, including marketing the “Sawa” SIM cards & recharge vouchers. The success of Interkey can be attributed to only two things: expert manpower and prudence. We exercised prudence in IT spending. The yardstick in our technology investments and ICT services is delivery of real value of services, not just marginal benefits, to ourselves and to our customers/end-users. However, we don’t sit on our laurels. While we are encouraged by positive predictions in the ICT industry, we mean to continue with the wisdom of experience and prudence in tackling the challenges during fiscal year 2006 and the years ahead even as we utilize the appropriate high technology in achieving our corporate goals. With Interkey’s proven track record of successful projects behind us since its inception 7 years ago, and together with our excellent partnerships with both local and international companies, we are confident years 2006 and thenceforth will give us a better opportunity: to be a part of the unique atmosphere of liberalization in the ICT industry with more vigor. Interkey’s Platforms for Prepaid Phone Solutions, Interactive Voice Response (IVR) Systems, Billing & Distribution Systems, and GSM Value-Added Services such as Short Message Service (SMS) Push-Pull Services, Multi-Media Service (MMS) and Bulk Messaging, are run by Frame Relay network and Intelligent Network systems that are of high quality, modular, and resilient. They are capable of handling very high volumes of call traffic. The foregoing platforms, located in Riyadh (HO), Dammam and Jeddah, are inter-connected via fiber-optic and interfaced with our outlying 21 branches and offices via more than 200 E1 lines. Powered by Oracle systems, we operate, control and remotely monitor our platforms and networks on a 24/7 all year round in real-time, including accounting processes such as sales, stocks, and distribution. Our technical management functions are in compliance with best practices operating procedures, thereby ensuring excellent services and ideal systems availability. Locally, we market our products and services thru our 100 one-stop-shop-stores and over 25,000 business partners, distributors and resellers kingdom-wide
