SquintPRO · Pricing

What determines the cost of AI video analytics with SquintPRO

SquintPRO is priced by quote, according to the site, the number of cameras and the use cases in scope. Where the analytics run, what your cameras need and how deep the integration goes also shape the quote. This page explains each factor so you can send a request that can be priced accurately the first time.

In brief

  • How SquintPRO is priced: by quote, per site, number of cameras and use case.
  • Use cases count: each use case in scope is part of the price, so the list of use cases you want first shapes the quote.
  • What else moves the quote: on-premise or cloud deployment, camera work, and integration depth.
  • Price list: we do not publish one. Each quote is prepared for a specific site and scope.

Site, cameras and use cases set the price

SquintPRO is quoted on three things:

  • The site. Each site is quoted on its own, because cameras, networks and systems differ from one site to the next.
  • The cameras in scope. Only the cameras connected to SquintPRO count. You can start with the cameras that cover your highest-risk areas and add others later.
  • The use cases. A use case is one thing SquintPRO watches for, such as missing protective equipment, entry into a restricted zone or unsafe proximity to moving equipment. Each use case in scope is part of the price.

Because use cases are priced, it pays to start with the one or two that matter most on your site, prove them, and add others once the first ones have shown results.

On-premise or cloud: what each means for the quote

SquintPRO can run on your premises or in the cloud. The choice changes what you provide and what we provide.

Retention: how long footage stays searchable

Retention decides how far back your team can search and review. In a cloud deployment you choose 3, 6 or 12 months. Pick the shortest period that covers your investigation and audit needs, and state it in your request so the quote is prepared for that option.

Detection records do not have to depend on keeping continuous footage. Event records can be kept for reporting while the continuous recording follows a shorter policy, which is a decision for your HSE and legal owners.

Cameras: reuse, adjust or replace

SquintPRO is designed to run on cameras you already own, so the camera estate is usually the largest unknown in a quote. A camera-suitability review sorts the cameras in scope into three groups:

  • usable as they are;
  • usable after adjustment, such as a change of angle, cleaning, or extra lighting;
  • needing replacement for the specific detection, because of distance, resolution or position.

Only the third group adds camera hardware to the quote.

Integration and alert routing

An alert is only useful if it reaches the right person in a tool they already watch. Interkey builds the integration for each site: into your video management system, your control room and alerting workflow, and your incident system. The more systems an alert has to reach, the more integration work the quote includes.

Pilot first, then rollout, priced separately

We recommend starting with a pilot: one site, a defined set of cameras, one or two detection cases, and success criteria agreed in writing before anything is switched on. A pilot's cost depends on whether processing runs on temporary on-site hardware, how deep the integration goes, and how much human review the measurement needs. Ask for the pilot to be priced separately from the rollout, so the decision to continue is made on results, not on a commitment signed in advance.

What to include in a quote request

Send as much of this as you have. Missing items are fine; they become questions for the scoping call.

  • The site or sites in scope
  • Number of cameras in scope, grouped by area
  • Camera makes, models and resolution, if known
  • The video management system or recorder in use
  • Deployment preference, on-premise or cloud, and the reason
  • For cloud: the retention period you need (3, 6 or 12 months)
  • The use cases you want first, in order of priority
  • Who should receive alerts, and in which system
  • Whether you want a pilot before a rollout

Questions buyers ask

Does adding a use case change the price?

Yes. SquintPRO is priced per site, number of cameras and use case, so each use case in scope is part of the quote. Starting with one or two and adding others once they are proven keeps the first quote focused.

Can we start with a small number of cameras?

Yes. A pilot covers one site and a defined set of cameras chosen to represent real conditions, not the whole estate.

Why don't you publish a price list?

Because the price depends on the site, the number of cameras and the use cases, and camera work, deployment model and integration differ from site to site. A list price that leaves those out would not help you budget.

Do we have to replace our cameras?

Usually not. The suitability review tells you which cameras can be used as they are and which, if any, need replacing for a particular detection.

Can the video stay on our site?

Yes. In an on-premise deployment the analysis runs on your infrastructure and the footage does not leave the site.
