Compare
Comparisons
Two comparisons Interkey has published so far, each written to include the cases where switching is not the right call, even when Interkey has something to sell instead.
How these are written
A comparison written by someone who sells the alternative
Both pages below are written by a team with something to sell, and both say so on the page rather than in a disclaimer. That is the only honest way to publish a comparison: the reader can discount the argument once they know where it comes from, and the argument has to be good enough to survive being discounted.
So each of them opens by stating what the incumbent does well, names the cases where switching is the wrong call, and puts the evidence a buyer should demand ahead of the conclusion. Neither publishes a feature matrix with the ticks arranged favourably, and neither claims a competitor is bad software. What they compare is fit for a Saudi deployment, which is a narrower and more useful question than which product is better.
Evaluations
All comparisons
Written for buyers mid-evaluation, with a specific alternative already on the table.

What the published per-segment rate does not include, and what switching actually involves.
ObservabilityDatadog alternatives: when to switch, and when not to
Written by a Datadog implementation team, on where Datadog is genuinely the right answer and where it is not.

What to have in front of you
A comparison is only useful against a decision you have already framed. These are the five things that turn "which is better" into a question with an answer:
- What is actually forcing the decision now: a renewal date, a bill, an incident, a residency ruling — not a general sense that something could be better
- The one measurement your current platform fails, stated as a number you have seen rather than an impression
- Which constraints are real and which are habits: where data may sit, which working week support has to cover, which entity may be contracted
- The cost of switching as your team would carry it — integration, parallel running, retraining — not the licence line alone
- What would have to be true for staying put to be the right answer, written down before you read anyone’s argument

Mid-evaluation?
Say what is on your shortlist and what is driving the decision. Sometimes the honest answer is that your current option is right.
